Part of this regulation requires you to attend the 7 hour National USPAP Update course. USPAP is mandatory! No Exceptions! Questions?, call NY State at 518-474-4429. Due to limited seating, and advance book purchase requirements, no refunds are permitted once course is registered for. Attendance mandatory to receive credit for courses. Call to confirm dates, times and availability of each course you wish to attend. We require a minimum of 7 students to run each course. KEEP COPIES OF ALL CERTIFICATES YOU RECEIVE! All appraisers are subject to a continuing education audit. If you do not have the required Appraiser Continuing Education, you are in violation of state guidelines. If course is cancelled due to weather issues, we will call you at the # you provided.

A Certificate based Appraiser course in which we will discuss with our students the many areas of affordable energy and environmental considerations associated with each type of energy course. Further we will present Healthy Home Materials published by the US Dept. of HUD (US Dept. of Housing and Urban Development –the agency the controls FHA Transactions in the USA). Other manuals include the Phase 1 ASTMA Guidelines and all the components of Phase 1, 2, 3 and 4 Guidelines. Now that Mold Inspecting and Assessments are now licensed by the Dept. of Labor (OSHA People) we will discuss this as to getting a Mold Assessment License in NYS, for those interested in inspecting Mold in residential and non-residential homes throughout New York State. The Mold Course is a separate 32 hour course which has a final examination in order to receive your Mold Certificate which will allow you to apply for licensure as a Mold Assessor in NYS. We will go over all different types of Energy, and how long items last in a home and when to consider a home as exceeded it useful life. A great class for Appraisers to complete the required 21 hours of continuing education in NYS plus the 7 Hour USPAP class.

7 Hour Class Includes the National USPAP Student Manual and all requisite handouts. We also notify the Appraisal Foundation of Students are requested to bring in the National USPAP Manual to class, and /or bring a PDF copy on their Laptop/or their Tablet. This is the 2020-2021 USPAP Program and is being taught by Andrew Mantovani II , ASB Instructor Student will receive their certificate at the conclusion of class along with the requisite examination answers for the Appraisal Foundation's Student Manual.
