This course may be all you need if you are not looking to be a Licensed Inspector or you wish an introductory course to learn more before you make a final decision.. A example of this is that DRAW Inspections and Insurance Inspections may be exempt under the law. If this is true, then you will be required only to follow Guidelines set forth by Associations such as the Association of Construction Inspectors (ACI). Bill Merrell serves as the New York Education Committee Rep for both the Association of Construction Inspectors and the Housing Inspection Foundation. If you attend this Comprehensive Introductory course and find you wish to go forward and actually take the required training to become Licensed as a Home Inspector, we will offer you a discount towards the Licensing program. If you are not sure, and want a solid course to learn What a Home Inspector Does, What is Inspected, and How a Report is Completed, we believe this course may be what you are looking for. We are now keeping the course to the exact hours set forth by NY State of 22.5 hours. We will have an additional 1/2 day seminar to explain the next steps, and you may also consider performing, and having up to 3 inspections reviewed, by our school.
