New York State Home Inspectors and Those Who Desire To Enter the field!
Are You Considering a Career in the field of Home Inspection?
If you answered YES to this question, you must take courses to achieve this goal.
NYS requires you to either be Licensed or work for a Licensed Inspector.
Licensing requires 100 Hours of Education
40 Hours of Supervised Inspections under the direction of a Licensed Home Inspector
Filing with the State of NY for a License in the State
If you are not licensed, you may work for a Licensed Inspector under his or her supervision- the law even allows an apprenticeship towards the eventual goal of becoming Licensed in the State of New York.
